FEBRUARY 15TH - ALL-LIMP-ICS
Wow.
So this is a first for me. A death at the Olympics. I am sure it has happened before and actually I think I heard the handsome Bob Costas mention a few other times it has, excluding the time in Muchen when the summer events, Synchronized Kidnapping and Freestyle Negotiating, went horribly wrong.
But this time it was different for me. I was actually watching these Olympics from the moment TV started covering it. Why? I'm not sure... just happened that way.
My only comment about this whole thing is:
So this Georgian died while luging. I am sure his loved ones never want to relive that moment or ever want to be reminded of their son luging, or the sport in general, again. I hope the funeral home director realizes that when placing this young man in the coffin, on his back, head positioned up looking forward, legs straight and his arms to the side.
